On November 13, 2025, Ramiro—a day laborer, father of two U.S. citizen children, and beloved Pomona community member—was detained by federal immigration agents while on his way to pick up medication for a life-threatening case of pneumonia.

Ramiro remains detained at Adelanto. Lab work ordered by his legal team has not been permitted by ICE. This lab work is required to prove his eligibility for immigration relief.

We are calling on ICE to immediately permit the necessary lab work and release Ramiro.
