Demand Landscape Protections for Greater Chaco

The Greater Chaco Coalition (Frack Off Chaco) is demanding more than new lines on a map to protect the Greater Chaco Landscape and ensure the meaningful involvement of impacted communities and Tribal Nations. While the proposed 10-mile buffer around Chaco Culture National Park is important, ultimately, we need landscape-level safeguards to protect and restore the cultural integrity of all Greater Chaco and its communities and to address the existing and cumulative impacts of over 40,000 oil and gas wells in the region.
