Reject Cuts to Medicaid Funded ABA
Governor Hochul's 2025-26 Executive Budget includes a $9.6 million cut to Medicaid funding for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and an additional $19 million cut in 2026-27.
This week NYS Assembly and Senate members are deciding what is included or rejected in the budget. We only have this week to let our representatives know that we reject all cuts to Medicaid-funded ABA.
If ABA rates are cut, network participation will reduce, resulting in loss of services for children who are already being served, and long-wait lists, or denials of care for children yet to receive services.
