Governor Hochul has just authorized a third rate cut to Medicaid providers of Applied Behavior Analysis Services, realizing the Medicaid Director’s original goal of cutting Medicaid provider rates by 50 percent.

If this third ABA rate cut is not rescinded, then provider participation within the Medicaid program will continue to decline, resulting in loss of services for children who are already being served, and longer waitlists or denials of care for children who have yet to receive services.
