Stop Ethiopia's Drone Attacks on Civilians in Tigray (U.S. and Canada)
The Ethiopian federal government is bombing civilians in Tigray again. On August 20, 2026, drones struck the city of Mekelle and sent at least thirteen wounded people, women and children among them to Ayder Hospital, a hospital that years of siege have left it without reliable access to the most basic surgical and medical supplies. It was the gravest point in a three-week escalation of drone strikes across the region, and it violates the peace agreement the United States helped witness in 2022.
Expressions of concern have not stopped the attacks. Your elected officials can. Add your name to send a letter to your senators, representatives, and members of Parliament, urging them to act now to stop the strikes and protect civilians in Tigray.
