Senator Bernie Sanders just announced joint resolutions of disapproval (JRDs) to force a vote to block President Trump’s $676 million weapons giveaway containing over 5,000 1,000-pound bombs and 7,000 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) bomb kits to Israel -- a weapons package funded by our taxpayer dollars -- as well as rifles used by the Israel military to shoot Palestinians trying to get food.

The vote on Wednesday, July 30 will be on these resolutions, per Sanders' office:

S.J.Res.34 – To prohibit the U.S.-taxpayer financed $675.7 million sale of 201 MK 83 1,000-pound bombs; 4,799 BLU-110A/B General Purpose 1,000-pound bombs; 1,500 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) guidance kits for MK 83 bombs; 3,500 JDAM guidance kits for MK 83 bombs; and related logistics and technical support services.

S.J.Res.41 – To prohibit the sale of tens of thousands of fully automatic assault rifles.
