Tell your Members of Congress to defend US foreign aid to the Burmese people

For decades, the U.S. has been a leader in supporting the Burmese people. It is crucial that the U.S. Congress continue to fund vital programs both for humanitarian relief as well as for promotion of democracy and human rights in Burma (Myanmar).

The Trump administration has decimated U.S. foreign aid programs, including many programs built up by Congress over thirty years that are vital to the Burmese people. The Administration is destroying the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Voice of America, Radio Free Asia, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the U.S. Institute for Peace.

Congress must step up and defend the programs that it created that are vital to the Burmese people's struggle for their survival, for their human rights, and for democracy in their country.

Tell your Members of Congress to defend and continue to fund U.S. foreign aid programs for Burma.
