Tell Congress: Free Leqaa Kordia from ICE detention!
Feb. 7 EMERGENCY: Leqaa Kordia has been hospitalized following a medical emergency yesterday. Her family and counsel are not being informed by ICE on where she is being treated. Please take action for Leqaa Kordia, even if you have already sent a letter to your Members of Congress. We have updated the email content to demand that her family and counsel be informed of her whereabouts and condition, so they can support her.

Leqaa Kordia, a 33-year-old Palestinian woman from Paterson, New Jersey, has been held unlawfully in detention for 11 months at the Prairieland Detention Facility in Texas 1,500 miles away from her family, for speaking out against the ongoing genocide in Gaza that has killed nearly 200 members of her family.
An immigration judge has twice determined Leqaa to be releasable. We need Congress to act immediately.
The Prairieland Detention Facility in Texas is one of many ICE detention centers notorious for human rights violations. “No freedom, no justice. It’s just an ugly place to be,” Leqaa said.
ACT NOW: Tell your Members of Congress to take action immediately and call for the release of Leqaa Kordia from ICE detention.
