The Greater Chaco Coalition is calling on the Department of the Interior and the Bureau of Land Management to recommit to protecting the Greater Chaco landscape in pursuit of a just and equitable transition for communities in the region. The Honoring Chaco Initiative can provide an opportunity to establish a new framework for the management of public lands and resources in the region that prioritizes the principles of health, economic and environmental justice, equity, and sustainability.
