Improve the delivery of basic city services for all the people of New Orleans

City of New Orleans elected officials and candidates

The people of New Orleans want change and are not happy with the operations of city government. They overwhelmingly believe the city is failing to deliver basic services. The Coalition recommends major changes to New Orleans' service delivery apparatus.

The Coalition put together a City Services action plan––full of fresh, innovative and practical ideas that focus on five essential service areas:

Crime and public safety.
Streets and infrastructure.
Drainage and water management.
Trash pick-up and clean public spaces.
Licensing and permitting.

The City Services action plan is about better delivery of services-- and is based on a simple premise: "If we can’t do the basics right, how can we do anything else?"

Tell New Orleans' elected officials and candidates you want them to adopt the recommendations laid out in the City Services action plan.

I join citizens across New Orleans in supporting the City Services Coalition's effort to improve the structure and management of city government. I want to improve basic city services for all our people––from public safety and streets and transportation to drainage, permitting and trash collection.

This isn't about politics or personalities.

It's about our city's future. It's about our people. It's about new ideas and real solutions.

I'm ready to take a stand––for a safer, cleaner, thriving New Orleans. I want New Orleans' elected officials and candidates to adopt the recommendations laid out in the City Services action plan.
