Livable Wages
- We have seen so many talented people leave because MNHS has refused to increase wages.
- Remember- we are the official archives for the State- all the History of the State is held and processed at MNHS- which is essential to make sure future Minnesotans know and understand our rich history

Safety and Respect on the Job
- MNHS frontline workers face harassment on the job- especially our members who work at sites in costume- we have seen an increase in unwanted touching and disturbing comments- with no support from site leadership
- We are fighting to be included in the decisions of the organization and to be communicated with. Many staff are isolated in silos- with no chance to cooperate and make MNHS better for all the guests who visit our sites

Job Security
- Routine reorganizations and ever-changing seasonal staffing have left us short-staffed all while refusing to return workers who have years of service at our sites.
- Without livable wages and job security, we’ll continue to not be able to offer all the programs and the best experience to folks visiting our sites.
