We, the undersigned Maine residents, MaineHealth patients, healthcare workers, and concerned citizens believe that corporations masterminding gross violations of human rights and the rights of US citizens including genocide, mass surveillance, and unlawful deportation have no place in our state. Therefore, we demand that MaineHealth do the following:

1. Immediately cease use of all Palantir technologies and cancel its contracts with the company and any of its subsidiaries.
2. Immediately disclose exactly how Palantir technology was used, when its use began, and which processes were affected.
3. Notify all patients who had Palantir technologies used on them or their chart at any point in their healthcare interactions including billing, prior authorizations, and approvals of the extent to which their data was shared with Palantir.

Palantir has developed an app for U.S. immigration agents that mines American's health data and uses it to hunt people, in addition to multiple other Palantir tech applications that are integral to ICE's deportation machine. It also collaborates extensively with the Israeli military to support its operations in Gaza and its occupation of the West Bank to the point that the United Nations (UN) has listed them explicitly in a report they published compiling the US companies who have played the biggest role in facilitating Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people.
