Endorsed Trump’s anti-environment pick for Secretary of the interior
Has serious labor rights violations - including debt bondage and discrimination - in the factories that make REI branded apparel and bicycles.
Eliminated its ‘Experiences’ division and laid off 400 REI workers
Put workers health & safety at risk by removing respirators from ski/snow shops around the country

I, pledge to reject any candidates REI nominates for the Board of Directors during this year’s election. I stand alongside thousands of other REI members and shoppers who believe we should have workers and members guiding the future of the Co-op, not people from corporate backgrounds.
I’m pledging to reject REI’s candidates because, at this point, REI is only a Co-op in name. I’m incredibly disappointed to see REI ignoring the 10,000 people who wanted pro-labor and pro-climate activists on the Board. I’m also sad to see continue to REI fight against the workers who make the company run smoothly. REI workers deserve a voice at the Co-op, and they shouldn’t have to put up with unnecessary retaliation from a company that claims to have their best interests in mind.
REI needs to do right by its workers and members, I’ll continue to advocate for better accountability at the Co-op until things change.
