Secretary Rubio: Restore US support for the Burmese people
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio

Urge U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to restore US support for the Burmese people
For the decades, the U.S. has been a leader in supporting the Burmese people. As the Burmese people recover from the March 2025 earthquake, it is crucial that the U.S. Administration restore vital programs for both humanitarian relief as well as promotion of democracy and human rights in Burma (Myanmar).
The Trump Administration has cut vital foreign aid programs and destroyed the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). But Secretary Rubio can choose to restore these programs that are vital to the Burmese people's struggle for their livelihoods, for their human rights, and for democracy in their country.

We urgently appeal to you to restore State Department and USAID support for the Burmese people.
For the decades, the U.S. has been a leader in supporting the Burmese people. It is crucial that the U.S. Administration restore vital programs for both humanitarian relief as well as promotion of democracy and human rights in Burma (Myanmar).
The Trump Administration has frozen foreign aid programs and destroyed the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). But, Secretary Rubio, you can choose to unfreeze the money and restore these programs that are vital to the Burmese people's struggle for their livelihoods, for their human rights, and for democracy in their country.
We urge you to restore State Department and USAID support for the Burmese people.
