Parent Caregivers, we need to hear from you!

PEPWA is actively advocating for the Employ Parent Caregiver Bill which would extend employment eligibility to 4,700 parents of minor children with developmental disabilities in Washington State. As parents ourselves, we understand the impact this change would make to families across the state of Washington.  

However, it will not be easy. Our state is facing a budget deficit this year and in order to get it passed, we need as many families as possible to reach out to their legislators, share their stories and educate them on the challenges our families face.
