Take action to support the Malvern House London teachers!

[Update 17 September 2025]

The Malvern House strike is on - and we want you at the picket line!

"This strike isn’t just about one decision or one person. It’s about all of us—about the need for fairness, respect, and real dialogue. It’s about standing together to demand the basic rights and recognition every teacher deserves."

Malvern House teachers voted to strike - and did so in a magnificent fashion! With 100% union membership and a 100% turnout in the ballot, the teachers returned a 100% vote in favour of strike action.

Strike days are set for Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th of September. Pickets begin at 8am sharp and take place in front of the school in Islington, a short walk from King's Cross station: 200 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JP.

Bring noisemakers, trade union banners, and food to share. Children welcome!

We look forward to seeing you there!

[Update 10 September 2025]

The ballots are in: teachers at Malvern House in London have unanimously voted for strike action. They are fighting for the reinstatement of their sacked colleague, the removal of exploitative contract clauses, an end to zero-hours insecurity and union recognition for the IWW.

These teachers deliver quality education every day, yet management refuses to meet their just demands. Faced with stonewalling and disrespect, they are taking collective action to win fairness, security and dignity at work.

An injury to one is an injury to all. Stand with them by donating to the hardship fund, writing to the bosses and joining the campaign. Together we have the power to make Malvern House listen.
