Thank you so much for supporting Walmart workers and the #Fastfor15 this Black Friday!!!

Join South Florida OUR Walmart members, associates, and members of the community as we come together to begin the first stop of two to break the 15 day fast that associates and community allies from all across the country have been on. Black Friday is one of Walmart's highest sales day. It is an embarrassment and disgrace that associates do not have enough food to feed their families during these times. We need to raise the starting wage to $15 with full-time hours so that our community of associates in South Florida can live with the dignity and respect they deserve. #FastFor15.

This event will be from 10-11AM. From there we will be moving to another Walmart just 10 minutes away (19501 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056) to break the fast, and hold a number of festivities for the community including an alternative Black Friday market put on by Roots Collective.
