Non-Profits: Let’s Do Good Together 2019

The Appreciate Pasco: Good Deeds Day Festival (2019) will take place on internationally recognized Good Deeds Day, April 7, 2019 from Noon until 5PM. Join us at 36822 SR 54, ZEPHYRHILLS, FL 33541  as we kick off Volunteer Appreciation Week.

The festival is intended to build community by bringing together Non-Profits, For Profits, Arts & Crafts Vendors and our local citizenry to celebrate doing good, right here in Pasco County!

The 2019 Festival Co-Hosts are:

• United School Employees of Pasco – Retired (Land O Lakes)
• Florida Trailer Solutions (Zephyrhills)
• Make A Difference (Dade City)

Last year our primary focus was recognizing organizations and their volunteers that do good. This year, we will be doing the same (via social media livestreams...more on that later), but our primary focus will be on building public engagement and volunteer recruitment.

Non-Profit Groups and Organizations are invited to participate in the festival FREE of charge providing THAT your group or organization does ALL of the following (yes, nothing is truly free).

RESERVE YOUR TABLING SPACE BY COMPLETING THIS FORM IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Bring your own table, chairs, and personnel to man your promotional table for the duration of the festival. A canopy no larger than 10x10 is suggested, but not required. Set up at the location begins at 11:00AM and the festival starts at NOON. Break-down begins no earlier than 4PM. The festival officially closes at 5PM. Parking near your tabling space is temporary, so arrive early to unload. If you have a any special needs (such as electric or you if you are bringing a large vehicle to display), please email pascoactivists@gmail.com to let us know.

ELECT TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY OR OFFER A PRIZE BASKET AT YOUR TABLE.

Passerby’s are more likely to want to visit your table if you provide a fun activity. Activities can be geared toward your organizations purpose or entirely just for fun. They can be a hands-on demonstration (potted plants), a game contest (spelling or fact guess), an exercise (yoga), photo booth,  or simply a coloring exercise. Options are limitless. If you choose to offer a prize basket  (valued no greater than $20) it will remain on your table until such time as it is raffled off. You will ask passerby’s to buy a raffle ticket (proceeds going towards the venue).

SOLICIT VOLUNTEERS TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR OWN UPCOMING ORGANIZED ACTIVITY.

Entice passerby’s by encouraging them to sign up to volunteer with your organization. Simply plan an activity (to include, date, time & place) to occur soon after the festival aligned with your mission and a Good Deeds Day Sustainable Development Goal & ask people to sign up to participate. The festival doesn’t come without associated costs. Please provide a business name, a contact person and phone number so that we can invite them to join and/or send them the For-Profit Business Sponsor Invite. You can also ask a business to sponsor your participation by making a payment here.
