Report for Duty Rally

Report for Duty Rally—a nationwide call to action that centers nursing advocacy, unity, and the power of our collective voice. This rally is more than just a moment; it's the beginning of a movement—a bold, unified push toward the Million Nurse March in 2026.

Together, we are recommitting to our core values: humanity, ethics, social justice, and science, while honoring the 75th anniversary of the Nursing Code of Ethics.

Why Are We Rallying?

Because nurses are more than caregivers—we are changemakers.

We are rallying to:

  • Ignite a new energy in nursing advocacy.

  • Leverage our currency as the most trusted profession.

  • Make visible the immense power of the largest segment of the healthcare workforce.

  • Inspire unity across all sectors of nursing and healthcare.

This is one of many planned activations that aims to:

  • Center nursing advocacy in a symbolic, powerful, and visual way.

  • Mobilize and energize nurses at every level—across race, specialty, and geography.

Our Core Policy Priorities:

  1. Protecting Medicaid and Medicare

  2. Strengthening Primary and Preventive Care

  3. Promoting a Healthy Planet and Environment

  4. Safeguarding the Healthcare Workforce—ensuring it truly reflects the communities it serves.
