Metro New York Health Care for All
Metro New York Health Care for All is a citywide coalition of community groups, labor unions, professional associations, faith congregations, and concerned individuals who collaborate for health care justice and fight for universal health care. We were founded in 1993 out of the New York Jobs with Justice Health Care Campaign, and since then have been engaging in strategic campaigns and activities to further the creation of a national or statewide universal health care program.
We currently serve on the leadership bodies of the national Universal Health Care Action Network, Health Care for All New York, Campaign for New York Health, and Hudson Valley Access to Health Care Coalition. We also coordinate the New York City Organizing Committees of the Health Care for America Now and Lower Drug Prices Now campaigns.
