Earlier this week, Senator Richard Blumenthal emerged from a classified Iran briefing with a stark warning:

"We seem to be on a path toward deploying American troops on the ground in Iran."

This is exactly the scenario millions of Americans feared. And Congress has the constitutional authority and legal obligation to stop it.

Already, thousands of people have died in Iran – including nearly 200 children. 13 Americans are dead, with many more injured. And that’s just the beginning of the escalation.
