Expose Israel's violence and human rights abuses in the West Bank!

11 Senate Democrats led by Senator Chris Van Hollen are moving ahead a plan to force the U.S. government to issue an official report on Israel's human rights abuses in the West Bank.1

Sen. Bernie Sanders said, "Every day, Palestinians in the West Bank experience horrific violence at the hands of Israeli settlers and security forces — and for years, the Israeli government has offered impunity instead of accountability." Sanders called on Congress to stop bankrolling this violence, including the killing of nine Americans over the last four years and a recent ambush attack on an NBC News crew interviewing a Palestinian woman.2,3

Israel's genocide in Gaza has not stopped the U.S. from handing over weapons and taxpayer money. Exposing Israeli violence and holding settlers accountable is an important step towards real justice and safety for Palestinians.

Tell the Senate to report on human rights violations in the West Bank and hold Israel accountable!

The U.S. Foreign Assistance Act gives Congress the right to request reporting on human rights standards from any country receiving American security assistance funding.4

Senators Van Hollen, Sanders, and Kaine will introduce a resolution to force Trump's State Department to lay bare for Congress, the American public, and the world the extent of Israeli violence and impunity in the West Bank.5

Polls show that Americans now hold historic levels of opposition to U.S. support for Israel's atrocities. We must continue pressuring our Senators to take real action.
