Tell Congress: Disabled Veterans Are Not Budget Bargaining Chips

House and Senate Republicans are trying to pass the "Take Care of America's Veterans Act," a massive bill with an Orwellian name that cuts billions of dollars in benefits, affecting millions of current and future veterans. The bill includes up to $57 billion in cuts over ten years, affecting millions of current and future veterans.

Ringing ears from weapon fire and shop noise. Sleep apnea from blast exposure and burn pits. These are real injuries, from real service, reduced to a line item to balance the books.

What's worse, disability cuts aren't half of it. The same bill gives greedy lenders new ways to gouge veterans trying to buy a home, lines the pockets of private insurance companies, ignores individual medical records while making disability ratings determinations, and more.

Veterans earned these benefits through service. We cannot stay silent while politicians hide their betrayal in a poison bill.

Send a letter to your members of Congress now. Tell them this bill is an insult to anyone who's ever worn the uniform, and it cannot stand.
