NY-11 for Health Care

NY-11 for Health Care is a project formed in 2009 to bring together various groups across Staten Island and southwest Brooklyn to advocate on federal health care issues, and to reach out to the public about them. Participants have collaborated to manifest public support for enactment, implementation, and defense of the Affordable Care Act, to defend Medicare and Medicaid, and to reach out to voters during various election cycles about "what's at stake for health care" and what candidates' positions mean for individuals, their families, and communities in the district.
